1700s Continental Smallsword Dagger

BUY £495 (+£10 UK postage if applicable)

1700s Continental dagger, made in a very similar style to that of the smallswords of the same period and possibly made as one for a child. Tapering double edged blade to a shaped hand guard and further cast brass handle with ball pommel, fine decorations in hilt. An uncommon blade in overall good condition for its age, but with some looseness in the handle, possibly due to the loss of the knuckle bow (reflected in price). 17.3 inches long in total, the blade is 12.8 inches long and 0.5 inches wide before tapering.
